Hog Roasts, Barbeques and Carveries

Barbeques and Hog Roasts are frequent events in The Springhead gardens, being so complementary to the beautiful rural surroundings.

These can be provided for the main wedding breakfast or the evening reception.

Barbeques are available in a variety of menus from burgers, lamb cutlets and sausages to rump steak and venison kebabs, or seafood kebabs with either tiger prawns or scallops. Vegetarian options are available. All menus can be served with an extensive choice of salads, such as potato, rice, tomato, pasta and green salads, homemade coleslaw and relishes, and freshly baked breads. A range of desserts is, of course, available with either a barbeque or hog roast.

Similarly, Hog Roasts are served with a bap and all the salad options if you wish, and vegetarian options are available.


The Springhead is renowned for its Carvery, which is served every Sunday throughout the year and on Saturday evenings during summer. We are delighted to now be able to offer The Carvery for your Wedding Reception.
