Wedding Receptions
Wedding Receptions are usually hosted in our marquee in the gardens of the Springhead. Our marquee is a modern design based on traditional Moroccan influences, which creates a relaxed and interesting venue. The marquee has the capacity to sit up to 130 guests for the wedding breakfast, and can accommodate up to 200 guests for an informal evening reception. A bar and dance floor are included in the marquee and a disco, band, or even a Cailidh can be accommodated.
In fine weather the arched wall panels of the marquee can be removed to create an open, airy venue, whilst during more inclement conditions the marquee can be closed up and heating can make it comfortable against an evening chill.
A variety of interior decor options are available, and usually the bride likes to arrange her own table decorations.
Marquee hire for the day starts from £750, although this will vary depending on numbers of guests and your individual requirements.
The Springhead Bar & Restaurant is also available for wedding receptions, particularly during the colder months. A maximum of 75 guests can be accommodated for the wedding breakfast and up to 150 people for an informal evening reception.
